Need To Move Your Restaurant?

In August 2019, on very short notice, we received word that restaurant chain Teriyaki Madness wanted to move their corporate office as well as completely relocating some of their restaurants.

We scheduled an appointment to meet with corporate managers responsible for the office and restaurant relocation.

We completed a full walk-through of offices and restaurants to provide a full flat rate NOT to exceed the estimate for the Teriyaki Madness Corporation.

We made it very clear to all parties involved as to what our responsibilities would be, as well as their own, in both verbal, paper, and emailed form.

We do not expect our clients to know our field of expertise, so we provided detailed information on how they could make these moves as quickly and stress-free as possible.

Examples:

In regards to the office relocation, we suggested that the manager in charge designate a color or number to each employee. The employee, designated one number or color, would mark all of the items in their office or cubicles (desk, office chair, plants, monitor, bookcases, file cabinets, pictures, boxes, etc.). The manager in charge would
then mark the doors or the floors at the new location with the number or color as to where those particular items would be going within the new building. This makes for a quick and flawless office moving experience. We also suggested that the use of blue painter’s tape was the best product for labeling all items. It is safe for all finishes.

In regards to the office relocation, the company stated that they would pack themselves but would need packing materials. We suggested that they purchase these materials immediately and have us deliver as soon as possible so each employee could gradually get their packing accomplished, day-to-day, before the designated moving date. To assist in this matter, we not only delivered the packing materials to them, but we staged the right size boxes, the right amount of tape, packing paper, and bubble wrap in each individual’s area at no additional charge. We made It very clear to the manager in charge that when you “pack yourself”, you are responsible for everything that fits into and does not protrude from, a small, medium, large, and
extra-large moving box in all areas. We saved the company time and money by letting them know that although they did have to empty all of the lateral file cabinets, we could move all vertical file cabinets fully loaded. This company also used large rolling metal racks on casters, with files and non-fragile items, which we told them that they did not have to remove since we would shrink-wrap the rolling racks completely. We suggested that they use the empty rolling racks that they had available to keep the files from the lateral file cabinets, which they had to empty, in order instead of stacking them in multiple boxes. We would shrink them on the rolling racks as well.
We told the manager in charge that we would remove all pictures, whiteboards, shelving, tv & computer wall mounts, etc. from walls at no additional charge.

In regards to the office relocation, we moved them overnight so they were up and running the next day, at no additional charge. Our rates never change 24/7.

In regards to both office and restaurant relocation, unlike our competitors, we are a one-stop-shop for moving EVERYTHING! We sub-contract our own general contractors, handymen, electricians, plumbers, heavy machinery operators, sign removal/replacement companies, etc. to provide full-service, complete relocations. No need to call or deal with multiple contractors, we have you covered!

In regards to both office and restaurant relocation, unlike our competitors, additional insurance did not need to be purchased. Our policies cover all residential and commercial moves.

In regards to the restaurant relocation, unlike our competitors, we successfully had all hoods, walk-in freezers, all restaurant equipment (gas & electric), signage, disconnected, and reconnected by our sub-contractors. We completely stripped these restaurants leaving nothing but the 4 walls, the floor, and the roof of the building that they originally leased into. This included packing and moving all restaurant items and equipment. The largest piece of equipment was 1600 lbs! We removed all light fixtures and packed them as well for proper transport. Photos of this move as well as many other constantly updated photos and videos can be found on our Facebook page at www.Facebook.com/MoveYouToday. There is a photo section of other moves like this on our website as well, www.MoveYouToday.com. Besides our sub-contracted help when needed, we have our own staff, vehicles, and equipment to provide up to 34 movers and 13 large fully equipped trucks at any given time.

In regards to both office and restaurant relocation, we successfully moved all items, requested to be stored long-term, into our local climate-controlled storage facility. We provided the client with a full descriptive inventory list, including any previous damage. When the client requests these items, we will use this inventory to confirm
that we not only returned every item to them but that we returned every item in the same condition that we took them in.

In regards to both office and restaurant relocation, we re-assembled and staged all items in all-new locations and utilized our contractors for any connections that were beyond our capabilities or licensing with the State of Florida and Dept. Of Agriculture.

The client was so impressed with our work, that they passed our information along to their bread maker and we moved his facility the following week.

All billing was completed on a standard State of Florida bill of lading for movers of household and commercial goods.

We hope that this is an acceptable example of the type of service
that we can provide you with in the future.

It would be our great pleasure to serve you.
